About Us King Tree Specialists, Inc. is a professional tree care company serving central Illinois. We are dedicated to providing our clients with the most professional tree care that central Illinois has to offer. We also strive to continually educate ourselves in all aspects of tree care, so we may exceed the expectations of our clients. Brian King, a resident of Tremont, Illinois, has had a long growing interest in trees and tree care. He began his career in horticulture at the age of 16. In 2000, he graduated from Illinois Central College with an Associates Degree in horticulture. Brian is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and is a Certified Arborist and a Certified Tree Worker/Climber Specialist. Every fall he competes in the Illinois Arborist Association (IAA) Tree Climbing Competition. He placed third in 2005 & 2008. As a business owner/arborist, Brian is dedicated to raising the standard of the tree care industry in central Illinois. Many tree care practices commonly used in our area do more harm than good, causing damage from which trees will never recover. Brian is working to combat these practices through education and promotion of proper practices in all aspects of tree care, from proper planting to proper pruning and maintenance.
